This page stays qualitative until verified project data is supplied. Policy context is not the same as a claimed percentage reduction.
How we talk about impact
Climate language without invented numbers
A CBG plant can be a climate project. It can also be a waste-treatment project that happens to produce a fuel. Saimona will not publish a carbon intensity, a tonnes-of-CO₂ figure, or a borrowed case-study yield as if it were Saimona’s own.
The honest sequence is physical. Organic material that would have decomposed or been burned is instead digested. Methane that would have been lost can be upgraded to a specification a buyer will take. Nutrients remaining in digestate can return to land if quality and a customer exist. Each of those steps has to be true on a given site.
SATAT, blending obligations and GOBARdhan describe a national market. They do not document the impact of a Saimona plant. When a project is published with measured data, those figures will sit on that case study — not as a generic homepage percentage.
Qualitative impact — no fake percentages
These tiles are layout placeholders. Quantified carbon or yield figures appear only from verified project data.
Methane as fuel
PreviewUpgraded gas used where a specification and offtake exist. Capturing methane as biomethane only counts if a buyer takes a molecule that meets the applicable standard.
Digestate return
PreviewNutrients managed as slurry or organic manure when quality and a buyer exist. A CBG plant that has no digestate plan has an unsolved waste problem sitting next to the compressor.
Carbon
