CSTR
A continuously mixed wet reactor, common for slurries and many agro-industrial feeds. Mixing energy and grit management are first-order design issues.
Anaerobic digestion
Reactor type follows solids content, mixing need and inhibition risk. Saimona does not treat CSTR, plug-flow or dry digestion as products it owns.
Each reactor family is an industry option, not a Saimona product. CSTR, plug-flow and dry systems are described so a sponsor can see why feedstock comes first. The partner who supplies the vessel is chosen after that argument is honest.
Mixing energy, grit, ammonia, sulphur and how the plant is actually fed usually decide the biology more than a brochure name. Saimona will not publish a house reactor as if it were owned technology.

Material moves as a plug along the reactor. Often considered for higher-solids or fibrous feeds. Temperature and uniformity still have to be engineered.
Higher total solids; frequently discussed for stacked organic municipal waste and fibrous material. Pretreatment and inerts decide whether it is viable.
Important parameters in any AD design include organic loading rate, hydraulic and solids retention time, temperature (mesophilic or thermophilic) and inhibitors such as ammonia, sulphur and salinity. Those numbers are project-specific and are not published here as Saimona guarantees.

We do not sell CSTR, plug-flow or dry digestion as house products. The reactor is chosen with a digestion partner after the feedstock is characterised — solids, inhibitors, mixing and how the plant will actually be fed.
